TITLE: Unsigned Iowa 975, Iowa County, Iowa

DISCUSSION/BACKGROUND:

Due to an agreement approved by the Iowa State Highway Commission on October 2, 1974, Unsigned Iowa 975 in Iowa County should be deleted from the Primary Road System. Iowa 975 begins on the north corporation line of Marengo and extends northerly for 1.33 miles.

PROPOSAL/ACTION RECOMMENDATION:

Remove Unsigned Iowa 975 in Iowa County as follows:

Beginning on the north corporation line of the City of Marengo at a point near the SE Corner of Section 24-T81N-R11W; thence northerly following the section line to a point approximately 1721 feet north of the SE Corner of Section 13-T81N-R11W.

NOW, THEREFORE: Be it resolved that the Iowa Department of Transportation approve the removal of Unsigned Iowa 975 in Iowa County, Iowa.

NOTE: To become effective when the conditions of the signed agreement are met.
